Izin Tinggal Terbatas & Persyartannya Izin Tinggal Terbatas (ITAS) adalah izin resmi yang diberikan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi Indonesia kepada Warga Negara Asing (WNA) untuk menetap di wilayah Indonesia dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Bentuk fisik atau dokumen elektronik dari izin ini disebut sebagai KITAS (Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas). Masa berlakunya bervariasi mulai dari 6 bulan hingga 2 tahun, tergantung pada tujuan kedatangan, dan dapat diperpanjang. Berikut adalah rincian lengkap mengenai manfaat dan persyaratan ITAS yang berlaku berdasarkan aturan terbaru keimigrasian di tahun 2026: Memiliki ITAS memberikan legalitas hukum bagi WNA serta membuka akses ke berbagai fasilitas domestik di Indonesia. Manfaat utamanya meliputi:Legalitas Tinggal: Menetap dan beraktivitas di Indonesia secara sah tanpa khawatir terkena sanksi overstay atau deportasi.Hak Bekerja dan Berbisnis: Dapat bekerja secara legal (untuk ITAS Kerja) atau menanam modal usaha (untuk ITAS Investor).Kemudahan Keluar-Masuk Indonesia: Pemegang ITAS kini otomatis mendapatkan Multiple Exit Re-Entry Permit (MERP) yang terintegrasi, sehingga bebas melakukan perjalanan internasional selama masa berlaku ITAS masih aktif.Akses Layanan Administrasi: Mempermudah pembuatan rekening bank lokal, pendaftaran nomor telepon pascabayar, penyewaan properti jangka panjang, hingga pendaftaran BPJS Kesehatan/ketenagakerjaan.Jalur Menuju ITAP: Menjadi syarat utama bagi WNA yang ingin meningkatkan status tinggalnya menjadi Izin Tinggal Tetap (ITAP) setelah memenuhi durasi waktu tertentu. Persyaratan Pengajuan ITAS Persyaratan dokumen dibedakan menjadi dua kategori: dokumen wajib bagi WNA dan dokumen tambahan sesuai peruntukan/jenis ITAS.1. Dokumen Wajib WNA (Persyaratan Umum)Setiap WNA yang mengajukan ITAS harus menyiapkan dokumen dasar berikut: Paspor Asli & Fotokopi: Masa berlaku paspor minimal 18 bulan sejak tanggal pengajuan. e-Visa Tinggal Terbatas: Bukti visa tinggal terbatas yang telah diterbitkan sebelum WNA masuk ke Indonesia. Surat Penjaminan: Surat pernyataan tanggung jawab dari penjamin (kecuali untuk WNA yang menikah dengan WNI). Pasfoto Terbaru: Foto biometrik semi-formal berwarna dengan latar belakang cerah (umumnya merah). Bukti Alamat Tinggal: Surat keterangan domisili atau kontrak sewa tempat tinggal di Indonesia.  2.
